Where is Delirium Dive?
Delirium Dive is located on the North face of Lookout Mountain and extends from the top of Lookout Mountain down a steep northwest-facing cirque. It offers terrain with a vertical relief from peak to treeline of approximately 480 metres (1575 feet) and a vertical relief from peak to valley floor of 585 metres (1919 feet). The average incline of the main Delirium Dive cirque is 38 to 39 degrees, with a top section in excess of 40 degrees and some areas approaching 50 degrees. Access to Delirium Dive is monitored from the top of the Continental Divide High Speed Quad where skiers and snowboarders proceed through a check-in gate. From there, they will have to walk to the summit of Lookout Mountain. Once at the top, there is a stairway which skiers will descend over a 15-foot rock band and onto the ridge. Hiking along the ridge will be anywhere from 5to 25 minutes, and skiers and snowboarders can choose wherever they want to drop into Delirium Dive. Delirium Dive is terrain to be taken ser
