Davao is indeed down south of the Philippines and in Central Mindanao It is one of the biggest cities in the world in terms of land area. It is awarded as one of the most livable cities in Asia. Crime rate is at its lowest, peace and order is A ok. Im from Luzon but assigned here, the place here is very much different from the capital, which is Manila. You can have peace of mind here inside the city. This is the very reason why people here are quite disgusted when people from the north associate their place to terrorism, bombings, kidnappings, etc, when in fact it is really better here.
