Daedalus is located on the Gosport peninsula in South Hampshire, adjacent to the Solent and between the residential areas of Lee-on-the-Solent and Stubbington. The site is approximately six miles from junctions 9-11 of the M27, accessible by the A32 and B3385. Fareham railway station is 3.5 miles away and the site is on the route of a number of bus services serving Lee-on-the-Solent, Stubbington, Fareham and Gosport.
