Where is CMS?
What kind of riders are in All Level and who is in Advanced? All Level is for everyone, beginners are welcome and experienced riders will also be challenged. Advanced level riders are current CMS students or riders from other barns who have been evaluated by one of our instructors. What are the instructors and counselors like? All of our program leaders are experienced, licensed instructors who love what they do. To assist them, college-age counselors and CITs help every program group. What is a typical day like? Campers arrive at either 8am (advanced) or 9am (all-level). Students help feed the horses and help with morning barn chores. Typically we have our riding lesson in the morning. After the horses have been turned out, students take a break for lunch in the shade or in the lounge. After lunch, we usually have a class time where we teach horse anatomy and basic horse health and discuss stable management; observe hoof care with the farrier or more advanced healthcare with the equin
