This is actually a bit of a “gotcha” question, because Cape Horn (Chile) is not, as is sometimes believed, located on either the South American mainland, or on the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego. Cape Horn is actually the southern-most point on Isla Hornos in the Hermite Islands group, at the southern end of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in southern Chile, located at the southern tip of South America.
