Cape Breton University is located on Cape Breton Island in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. It is 400km East of Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia and 1200Km East of Montreal. The Municipality where CBU is located includes the City of Sydney, and the towns of Glace Bay and New Waterford. A bus service connects all three, and the local airport (50 minutes to Halifax International Airport by air) is 10 minutes from the university.
