Where is Binghamton University located?
We are located in the area of New York State known as the Southern Tier. Binghamton is about 12 miles from the Pennsylvania border, 3 ½ -4 hours from midtown New York City, 3 hours from Rochester, 4 hours from Buffalo, just over an hour from Syracuse, and about 1 ½ hours from Albany. There is a regional airport and bus service available from Shortline and Greyhound. We are also within driving distance of Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
