Benjamin Franklin’s grave is in the Christ Church burial ground at 5th and Arch Streets. He was buried in April of 1790; the cemetery was bought by Christ Church in 1719. It is said to be lucky to toss a penny on his grave. Source: Bulletin Almanac and Yearbook, 1976, p.291, 917.
