Ben Carson is from Detoit, Michigan. Yes! he is still alive! He now lives in Baltimore County, Maryland where he works at John Hopkins hospital. He is the head director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the hospital. He is married and has three grown children. He and his wife candy started a program called Carson Scholars. He had a very tough childhood, he lived in poverty, and violence. He overcame all this and attended Yale university, then did residency at johns hopkins hospital. He is truly a great man!!
