Where Is Ballycastle?
Ballycastle is a little town situated in County Antrim in Northern Island. It has a total population of 5089 people according to the census conducted in the year 2001. It is the key settlement of Moyle District Council. It is a beautiful small town with a nice big beach; it has scenic views across to the Rathlin Islands and Mull of Kintyre in Scotland. Ballycastle is well known for its Ould Lammas Fair, which is organized once a year on the final Monday and Tuesday of August. Ballymore also the base for Christian peace building society called Corrymeela Community. The key land mark of Ballycastle is Fair Head which stands at 196m out of the bay. There is a proper cycling route made from Ballycastle to Cushendun, on the way to Torr Head, giving an amazing view and vista.
