For an employment-based adjustment of status, the Advanced Parole application is filed with either the Nebraska or Texas USCIS Service Center (depending on the location of the applicant). For family-based adjustment of status, it is filed with the Chicago USCIS processing center. However, in an emergency an application for an Advanced Parole can be filed in any local USCIS office.
