I am an American who has lived in Canada 35 years. American Express is accepted pretty well everywhere credit cards are accepted. 99.9% identical to the US market. American issued Amex Cards are accepted without question here in Canada just like they are around the world. Fear not. You will have no problem getting your Amex card accepted at hotels, restaurants and retail stores. What is your specific concern?
