Q: Why is the event in Florida? A: There are several reasons why Florida was chosen as this year’s conference location. The international airport in Orlando, Florida is a convenient location for clients travelling from a variety of locations throughout the US. The cost of Florida locations is very reasonable this time of year, allowing us to keep our fees low. Although the conference is for clients only, Florida is very family-oriented and clients may choose to extend their stay in the area. In post-conference client surveys we asked what location would be of interest to users. Florida was consistently in the top three in the last three years. Q: Why is the event held in July and August? A: Historically, both legacy Misys and Allscripts conferences are scheduled this time of year. We wanted to maintain a similar schedule as many clients plan for this summer event every year.
