Where is a warm ( & cheap) place to holiday in december ?
If you can travel before the holidays (so, during the first two weeks of the month), you should be able to find cheaper airfare and accommodations in many tropical destinations warming up for their high tourism season. Not sure where you’re leaving from, so I’ll divide my suggestions into departures from the East and West Coast. From the West Coast: Mexico: A ton of resorts in beach destinations are currently offering all sorts of deals on accommodations. For instance, I recently saw some sales from the Riu chain of resorts, but there are a lot of others as well. Airfare is also looking pretty good if you choose your destination wisely. About two weeks ago I found a roundtrip, nonstop flight between San Francisco and Puerto Vallarta in early December for $250 on Mexicana.
