Where is a good place to hunt?
: Your hunting license does not give you the right to trespass on private property. It is your responsibility to find out who the land owner is and ask their permission whether the property is posted or not. Land that is owned by the State of New York and managed by DEC (marked with DEC signs) is usually open to hunting. Look at pages 29 and 30 in this year’s hunting guide.
