Where is a good place to eat near the Aladdin?
There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, the best of which is The Lamp, located right next door to the Aladdin. While The Lamp does serve bar food, this is not standard bar food. The chicken strips are made fresh, not frozen. The burgers are 1/3 pound and flame broiled to order. And make sure to try the blackened catfish po-boy, one of the house favorites. There are always specials on the menu, so make sure you ask the server or bartender when you arrive. Also in the neighborhood is the Berlin Inn is fine German food located one block East of the Theater. There is also a Jack in the Box and a Subway within walking distance to the Aladdin.
