There are MANY colleges that offer degrees in musical theater, which would combine singing, acting, and dance. As far as I know – and it is my business to know – there are not colleges granting degrees in rap. If you do not yet have an education that will get you INTO one of these college programs ( and I do not need to stress how incredibly competitive they are) then WITHOUT the level of education that the college would give you, you are NOT prepared for any career. So – you may be at least two HUGE steps away from your dream. If you have been studying voice, drama, and dance so that you ARE prepared to take college auditions ( and also have the GRADES to get in – the audition is useless without the grades) then fine- you are that much further along the path to your dream.
