Surfing is popular everywhere where there are oceans with enough wave activity to surf on. It is, of course, popular in the the mainland US and Hawaii. I do most of my surfing in New Jersey and the Carolinas. It is even more popular in Australia, where it is a much more ‘mainstream’ sport than in the US. It’s popular in latin America and growing in popularity in the British Isles and Europe (France, Spain & Portugal). I guess I could just go on and on. Instead, why don’t you check out this link.
