PIC has become very difficult to source as ICI are no longer manufacturing it, and while there is a US supplier, their product is UN 1.4G and the minimum order is large (Not to mention shipping 2KM of fuse containing 10Kg of compound)….. These guys are advertising a range of visco type fuses as available in the UK: http://www.pyroplanet.co.uk/index.php?ma… I would note that fusing a firework that does not come with a built in fuse may be considered an act of manufacture of explosives under the MSER. Do go and read the MSER, it has some useful guidance on exactly what is legal. Unless you are using the look of the burning fuse for effect, I would go for PIC if I could find it for most applications as it is more reliable and has better water resistance. Visco is available in a wide range of burn colours and effects however. Regards, Dan.
