Two things to consider. One is that Los Angeles is a very spread out city so any one place you choose will invariably put you some distance from another place you will eventually need to be. Second, is that it is generally an expensive city to live in. You will also need a car. Not having a car increases your travel times three fold. Without a car, trying to make appointments at all these places in one day would be a nightmare.
