Where in Las Vegas Can I Take Adult Education Courses?
The University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV) offers adult education courses through its Division of Educational Outreach, which serves the community with credit and non-credit courses. Although Educational Outreach does not offer full degree programs, academic credit courses taken through the department may be applied toward a degree at UNLV or other universities; fields of study for academic credit courses include everything from physical education to tourism and hospitality. Non-credit lifelong learning and enrichment courses are also available through the Las Vegas school’s adult education division, covering both educational topics–such as computer use, financial planning, languages and writing–and recreational interests such as yoga and golf. Distance learning and online courses are also available. University of Nevada’s Las Vegas campus also provides additional adult education programs for senior citizens, including tuition-free courses–taken for credit or audited–for students
