Cheap and GB do not go together at the moment, so research the prices before you commit yourself. I found the prices fairly even all over the country, with an exception for London that is even more expensive. In the bigger towns the average price of a BB will be higher than in the smaller towns, but there is a better chance on finding the few cheaper ones. Be aware that touristy BB’s are not geared on long term stays, and that the lodgings for long term stay are mostly overrun by people working or looking for work, often illegal or on a tourist visa, and police might investigate every now and again. If you plan on living in GB, try a private home, like a nursing home but for people still able to take care of themselves.
