Where in Florida can you see mermaids swim?
I think the you want is Weeki Wachee, if it has not closed. Like Gatorland, it was in danger of closing when I left Florida because of competition from Disney World, Universal Studios, and the big corporate parks. The mermaids were beautiful women who performed underwater, wearing mermaid tails and breathing from concealed air hoses when necessary. Not “real” mermaids, but still an impressive display of aquatics, and for many decades Weeki Wachee was famous for its live mermaid show.
