Where in England would you say the most beautiful natural landscape is located?

Everywhere, England is all FLAT, so boring. If you like landscape forget about England and go to Scotland, Wales or Ireland. Enjoy that’s beautiful. Edit: David S – See what I mean? Boring. For some reason some of the places I’ve mentioned are Protected Areas and World Heritage. And if you think I didn’t travel a lot or a bit at least this is where I’ve been: Portugal Spain France Italy Switzerland Austria Holland Czech Republic Hungary Germany Sweden Brazil Mozambique Angola Scotland (where I live) Wales England …and that’s why I say England’s Landscape is BORING! Edit 1: Actually nogolow is right, it’s pretty in some of the Northumberland areas.

Tim above who thinks England is ‘flat and boring’ needs to get out more. Within a relatively small country we have an enormour s variety of different natural landscapes from gentle pastoral to wild. These are a few of the best: Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire particularly the area south of Stokenchurch towards Henley on Thames The Long Mynd/Stipperstones -elevated moorland near Church Stretton Shropshire Mortimer Forest near Ludlow Shropshire. Elevated forest with incredible views towards the Malvern Hills and Wales Martinsell Hill/Oare Hill/Huish Hill near Marlborough and Pewsey Wiltshire This is a short list of my absolute favourites; there are countless other very beautiful landscapes. Do try and do some hiking to and in these places; for the most beautiful areas you have to get off the roads; we have the most comprehensive public rights of way system (hiking trails) in the world and they are all shown on Ordnance Survey Landranger and Explorer Maps which cover the who
