HGST has a nice set of tools and utilities that work with their hard drives (IBM Travelstars & Hitachi). You can find them here: http://www.hgst.com/hdd/support/download.htm Note: Hitachi recently acquired the hard drive business from IBM, the new website for both Hitachi and IBM HDD is now http://www.hgst.com/, as usual tools for both Hitachi and IBM drives are available, including a previously unheard of Hitachi 2.5″ drive testing program.
