Where/how can i find work experience related to theatre/drama?
Professional theatres won’t allow a minor to work in their shows; insurance problems, you know. They only use minors when needed for roles, and if possible they prefer adults who can PLAY minors. You can find amateur productions that might permit you to work on backstage tasks. The kinds of scenery, lighting, props, and costuming that are done in good amateur theatres are not all that different from what happens in the professional troupes. You also might consider contacting the local chapter of the theatrical union and asking if you could job-shadow a designer or lighting operator.
