Where has the old profiler Ally Walker, A.K.A. Samantha Sam Waters, gone?
A.) Ally Walker left the show after the third season, (i.e.: In the first episode of the Fourth Season). Many reasons have been stated as to why exactly she left. One of the most common is that Ally was unhappy with the scripts she was receiving after the new producers and writers took over [see (8.)], and decided she didn’t want to play the character of Sam any longer. (I.E.: Ally saw the way the network winds were blowing, and decided it was time for a sharp exit… clever Ally. ) Another common reason, put forth by Ally herself, was that she was unhappy with the show’s ‘darkness’. This seems an accurate and true reason, as Profiler in it’s hey day was very dark, and Ally Walker seems to be a more humour-oriented person. Either way, Ally left because she felt it was time to move on. We miss her. In Profiler-land however, Sam was kidnapped by ‘Jack’ [see (9.)], and after that, ‘Jack’ managed to get access to her daughter, Chloe, posing as a psychiatrist, and manipulated her mind to be
