The Yucatan Peninsula juts up into the Gulf of Mexico, with one side facing the Gulf and the other facing the Caribbean Sea. It is divided into the three states of Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo. We’ll be diving in the Caribbean Sea, but we will also be snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico looking for whale sharks.
