FEMA states that sulfidation of steel occurred in debris from one of the twin towers, WTC 1 or WTC 2. Of course it is likely that sulfidation occurred in the debris from both towers, as they underwent very similar collapses. There is no evidence of sulfidation of steel occurring in other building collapses.
