Where else besides Africa is malaria such a debilitating problem?
A lot of Southeast Asia. Malaria is making a big comeback in the former Soviet Union because the public health infrastructure has collapsed. They have gone from zero cases to at least 100,000 cases per year. There’s even more malaria cases in Europe and more in England, in part because of immigration. Do we get it in the U.S. anymore?
