Where does Yanchi bamboo flooring come from?
Yanchi bamboo flooring comes from one of the main bamboo flooring manufacturers in China which, has been producing bamboo products for over ten years. All Yanchi bamboo flooring material is carefully selected before being approved to be manufactured into floors. The bamboo itself is a grass which grows to over 80 feet tall in only five to six years. After it is harvested it is split and flattened, before being laminated together under high pressure and adding an environmentally safe adhesive. The bamboo flooring planks are then treated with hydrogen peroxide to eliminate any mildew and kiln-dried to 8-10% moisture content.
