Wakefield is in West Yorkshire, whereas Barnsley and Doncaster are in South Yorkshire. The ‘boundary’ is therefore somewhere between these metropolitan districts. You will often find roadside markers that tell you where you are, but I don’t think that there is a single symbolic marker – it wouldn’t make too much sense since a border is an irregular line, not a single point.
