Where does web design fall under (digital design, digital art, new media, etc)?
Why? Web design falls under digital design, digital art, and new media all at the same time. All of these things are so new, that it is too hard to assign this sort of semiotic hierarchy. You could also call it web-development, web-art, net.art, web-programming, and internet communications. These modes of thought can be used to describe each part of any human process. 12.
