Where does Vicwood get its raw material from?
Vicwood has its own source of logs supply from its forestry concessions in Cameroon, Congo and Central African Republic. Vicwood Group’s forestry concessions cover a total area of 3 million hectares – about the size of Taiwan. There are also 5 sawmills in Africa belonging to the group. Vicwood ships logs and lumber from these concessions not only to its factories in China but also to customers around the world. Please see our Vicwood Africa page for a list of log and lumber species that we are currently offering. Vicwood also sources North American and European logs from its network of suppliers. If you are interested in quoting us for logs or becoming part of our supplier network, please e-mail us.
