Where does Uplister fit into the online music space?
Our view is that the play list is going to be the next unit of music consumption. A play list is a list of songs that our subscribers make. From a consumer point of view, a play list is a much more flexible format as opposed to what Napster was thinking. Instead of searching for single tracks, you can get a whole list of songs from someone who may share your musical tastes. If you were to pick a variety of play lists, you would see other music that other people like in that song or genre. In essence what you’re doing is being led to something beyond your original request. What is Twizzler? What does it do? Right now, Twizzler is only an internal tool for our prospective partners and select users. We are not ready to release this prototype to the public just yet. Twizzler is online software in MP3 format that we developed that lets you have on-demand playback control of Uplister play lists and songs.
