Where does TYCO’s strength lie in APAC market?
Tyco’s strengths have changed over time. In last 2 years, we have opened facilities in Shanghai and Bangalore and I think it really help us to design the right requirements for the market. We are designing with closer eyes, ears and hands with the customer in new market places. So with these we can have good partner strategy in Asia Pacific as well. Before this we just have employees there, but now we have design centers to focus on Asia Pacific market with high skill employees to make sure that designs the suit local demand. That is our strength. What is the uptake of private vs. public sector for EACS? With the current economic climate, do you see a slowdown in adoption for security? EACS is the mechanism of enforcing policy through technology. Public sectors have a system of rules and policies for who should, and who can access what and when.
