Where does the quercetin in FRS healthy energy come from?
A. While quercetin is found in many fruits and vegetables, the quercetin in FRS healthy energy comes from specially cultivated plants grown for high purity quercetin extraction by Merck in Brazil. The quercetin we use, called QU995, which is 99.5% minimum purity, comes from the leaf of the Uncaria plant and/or the skin of the Fava D ‘Anta (pronounced FOV-A-DON-TA) fruit. QU 995 is the only quercetin with FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status.
