Where does the pilgrimage begin, and when?
A.M. check-in Wednesday, September 24, at the “Lake George Million Dollar Beach” public parking lot, located in Lake George Battleground (State) Park. Check-in is followed by Holy Mass, across the street, at the monument to St. Isaac Jogues. Q: Thats pretty early, so when should I arrive, and where? A: Most pilgrims arrive Tuesday evening (this year the 23rd), and wisely so, over-nighting in the Village of Lake George, usually at (1) Cramers Point Motel and Lodge, or at (2) the Lake George Battleground Park Campground. (1) Thanks to the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sausse, owners of Cramers Point Motel & Lodge, the cost per pilgrim to stay there Tuesday night (only) is $10/pilgrim ($20/room minimum).
