Where does the New York Guard band meet, and how do I get there?
The New York Guard drills and rehearses at Camp Smith, Cortlandt Manor, New York. Camp Smith is the training site of the New York National Guard and New York Guard, and is also used for training by the FBI and other local law enforcement, and fire prevention and control agencies. Located in the northwest corner of Westchester County, overlooking the Hudson River and the Bear Mountain Bridge, Camp Smith is easily accessible by car and train. The train stop on MetroNorth Railroad is Peekskill Station, on the Hudson River Line; a one-hour trip from Grand Central Station. Band members who choose to take the train may be picked up and dropped off at the station for NY Guard events, with prior notification.
