Yoshio is Adam’s middle name. He was named after his grandfather Yoshio “Sonny” Takami. Yoshio is a Japanese name meaning first born, or number one. He chose this name for his sauce as a way to honor his grandfather as well as to indicate that his sauce is in fact a premium, “number one” sauce.
