Where does the money that pays for services provided by the Home Repair Program come from?
The Home Repair Program is funded entirely with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) dollars. Kent spends roughly 40% of its annual CDBG funding to provide home repair assistance to very low, low and moderate income households. The level of funding is re-determined each year, and the percentage spent on home repairs is subject to change.
