The funds from AIDS Walk Boston go directly to the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts and are used to provide services to over 2,500 HIV+ clients. AAC provides vital programs including: housing assistance, utility relief, transportation assistance, counseling and legal help to our clients. In addition, we maintain the statewide HIV/AIDS, Sexual Health and Hepatitis C hotlines and the most complete HIV library in New England. AIDS Action also maintains a strong education and prevention focus, targeting the most at-risk communities and neighborhoods in Massachusetts and geared towards halting the epidemic by educating the people about risky behavior.
