All donations go into the general Caritas fund which is primarily used to fund development projects all around the world. The money helps existing projects to continue, and to begin new projects. Approximately $1 million of the money raised will also be used for emergency response, allowing for Caritas Australia to respond immediately in the case of a natural disaster or other humanitarian crisis.
