Where does the Lost Sheep Foundation get its referrals?
We ask for victims to come to us. We go out and set up for a time in every city and town in Tennessee. We concentrate first on all the towns where sex-offending priests have been assigned. Because the dioceses of Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis will not tell the people who the abusive clergy are, we are relying on the information given to us. We will use public information to determine which parishes have been in danger from these abusive clergy, and we will begin there. We will make our presence known and ask victims to come and tell us their stories. This will help us know the truth and find others who have been hurt.
