Where does the information in the JIF and in the Data Warehouse come from?
All information originates from the field, i.e., JIACs, JDFs, JCFs, and CCMAs. Staff at each of these agencies and facilities will input new information (first time and updates) in their local application. Once the new information has been locally approved (JJA policy pending) and meets data formatting and data consistency rules, it will be sent up to the Central data warehouse. Once again, a detailed summary of this information will then be available for retrieval (viewing) in the JIF.
