Where does the greyhound leave from horseshoe bay to whistler, and where do you buy tickets?
I can’t tell you exactly where any more. They’ve made major alterations to the highway lately in that area so things have probably changed. I do know that the Greyhound bus does not come down into Horseshoe Bay Village, unless they make route changes because of the Olympics but I doubt they will. Only the Blue Bus comes right into Horseshoe Bay. You may have to call Greyhound to find out exactly where their bus stops. You can’t buy a ticket on the bus, you have to buy it off the website or at a terminal or depot with an office, closest one is in Vancouver. They don’t handle luggage at roadside stops, either. If Greyhound can give you good directions to where the bus stops, you might be able to get the Blue Bus to close to the Greyhound stop and then walk to it; otherwise it’s a bit of a hike up to the highway, especially with luggage, and it’s a somewhat confusing area for a visitor.
