My Downsizer client doesn’t work any more. I get an error something like “Exception in thread “main” java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file.” What should I do? If you have not pulled it lately — you should get the new version of the downsizer from our web site. The old ones will not work with updated servers. I got the error: A communication error occurred while trying to connect to the remote RMI registry. What should I do? The data server is probably down. Send a message to mowshelp@usgs.gov and ask us to restart the server.
