The song contest is sponsored by Songwriters Resource Network, a trusted news and education resource for songwriters, lyricist and composers. The event is SRN’s only annual fundraising event. Beyond the costs of organizing the contest, providing prizes and publicizing the event, the proceeds go to support SRN and its mission to provide free educational songwriting information to songwriters.
