Where does the Agency advertise its vacant positions?
A. When a vacant position arises, a decision is usually taken by the Agency’s senior management whether to advertise the post internally to staff within the Health and Personal Social Services or whether to extend it to the general public through the regional press. This decision is made on a post-by-post basis and depends on the nature of the job as well as the skills and experience needed to perform it. If advertised internally, a notice is usually placed in the Central Services Agency’s Appointment bulletin. Each week this bulletin is distributed to all organisations within the Health and Personal Social Services, including the Health and Social Services Boards, Trusts, and Councils and special agencies. For further information on this bulletin, please contact: Carol Jones, Manager of Administration, CSA.
