where does that leave Edge when it comes to an opponent for WM21?
John: Might be a pipe dream now given his situation, but The Rock would be perfect for Edge. Obviously since Rock has said he’s “done” with WWE it isn’t a likely scenario now. It would have been perfect, though. My sense on this is that they’ll put Edge against Benoit since they’ve yet to have a PPV match against eachother in singles. They have the history with the whole former tag team champion thing on their side. Thing is, with Benoit possibly feuding with Jericho it will leave Edge out on his own. I’d rather see Benoit vs. Edge and Jericho vs. Hassan or something like that. Matt: I say Jericho, with Benoit vs. Guerrero as an interpromotional match. The reason I say so is that Jericho and Edge have already proven that they can have a good feud.
